Send Vision - Privacy Policy

Send Vision does not collect any directly identifying information such as your name, email address, or account credentials. Anonymous analytics data is collected to improve the app, as described below.

Analytics

Send Vision uses Amplitude, a third-party analytics service, to understand how the app is used and to improve the experience. All analytics data is anonymous and is not linked to your identity.

The following data is collected automatically by the Amplitude SDK:

• A randomly generated device identifier (not your Apple ID or any personal identifier)
• Device type and operating system version
• Language and carrier
• Coarse location (city, region, and country — which may be derived from your IP address by Amplitude, in accordance with their privacy policy)
• App usage data such as session count, usage time, and feature interactions

No names, email addresses, accounts, or other directly identifying information are collected. The analytics data described above does not directly identify you and is not intended to be used to identify you.

Analytics data is transmitted to Amplitude's servers. For details on how Amplitude handles data, see the Amplitude Privacy Policy.

Camera & Microphone

Send Vision uses the device camera and microphone solely to record climbing attempt videos while the app is in use.

All video processing is performed on-device.

Photos Access

If enabled by the user, Send Vision may save recorded videos to the Photos library. Photos access is optional and can be disabled at any time.

On-Device Processing

All video recording, climbing detection, and ML processing is performed entirely on your device. Only anonymous analytics data is transmitted over the network.
